Diablo 4 Update: Elite Spawn Rate Reduced in Dungeons, Changes to Legendary Aspects and More

Blizzard has made changes to Diablo 4 that has affected how players can farm experience points on their journey to Level 100. The Elite spawn rate in certain dungeons, such as the Ruins of Eridu, has been significantly reduced, making it difficult for players to quickly gather XP. Previously, players were able to visit the dungeon and kill ample Elite monsters available due to Eridu's higher-than-average spawn rate. This, in turn, provided players with more experience and better chances at loot than regular dungeons.
With the latest patch's arrival, developers have standardized the density of elite monsters that spawn in dungeons to ensure that no particular dungeon is clearly more efficient to run through than others. Players are now looking for the following best way to hope on that XP grind, but no clear frontrunner has surfaced yet. However, completing regular dungeons and Strongholds appears to be the best way to level characters for now.
Blizzard has confirmed that more news is coming regarding the game's release of Seasons and Battle Passes later this week. This will provide an insight into what gamers can expect from Diablo 4's biggest post-launch changes.
Apart from the changes made to the density of Elite monsters, the latest hotfix also fixed several Legendary Aspect Changes, including the incorrect reapplication of damage bonus and bugs relating to "Aspect of Berserk Ripping" and Barbarian's Two-Handed Sword Expertise. The hotfix also resolved an issue where World Tier 3 was given to players who had not yet met the requirements to advance.
Further improvements to the game include fixing an issue where an event in the Dilapidated Aqueducts subzone had improper level scaling and stability improvements. Players can continue to expect more changes to come in future updates, as the developers strive to make the game better with each new release.
